The recordings of Requiem's third album are done. The mixing
of the album begins this month. Eleven tracks for Japan,
ten tracks for the rest of the world! Definitely the best
Requiem this far. For more details, please see the updated

Requiem has signed a record deal for two albums with Scarlet
Records. The recording sessions begin in January of 2005
when drum parts will be recorded at Studio 57. The mixing
of Requiem?s third album will be done by Anssi Kippo at
Astia Studios in May. The mastering will be done again at
Finnvox. The album is scheluded to be released in September
2005. The band will also record some bonus material for
the Japanese version.
These
are first comments from Requiem vocalist Jouni Nikula after
the deal was made "Requiem is very happy to start to
work with Scarlet Records. The process of looking for the
best label for Requiem has been very, very long. We have
negotiated with more than five different labels since the
autumn of 2003. It?s nice finally to concentrate on music
only!" The future direction of Requiem will be something
groundbreaking. Prepare for the finest Requiem album so
far...
17.5.2004

We are now negotiating for a record deal for REQUIEM. The
deal with SOUND RIOT was for two albums and now, after The
Arrival and Mask of Damnation, it?s time to take a step
into a whole new level of music. We hope to get these bureaucratic
things in order as soon as possible that we can start to
record our third album in the near future. Before that,
check out a great review by Marco Signore at Gryphonmetal.
19.2.2004

There is a profound interview of Requiem at www.imperiumi.net
(in finnish) with some nice pics from our last show. The
making of video of Mask of Damnation is now ready. See if
we can add it here soon. Rock!
12.2.2004

Requiem
has parted ways with the keyboard player Henrik Klingenberg.
The reason for the departure is that Henrik is too busy
with Sonata Arctica. The new keyboard player is Jukka Hanninen
from Kokkola, Finland. Requiem played the first gig with
Jukka 31.1.2004 in Seinajoki, Finland, and everything totally
rocked !! Requiem has never sounded this good. Jukka?s personal
information coming soon.
